President & CEO
Bruce Baikie
- Bruce is a member of Sun Microsystem's telecom
industry team, responsible for developing the company's global telecom
strategies and strategic alliances, with an emphasis on wireless
services and platform infrastructure. His areas of expertise include
wireless architectures, mobile service delivery environments and
next-generation wireless and broadband services. Mr. Baikie has
published numerous white papers and articles on M2M, mobile music, data
center operations, and Wi-Fi operations. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical
Engineering from Michigan Technological University and studies in
International Business from the University of Wisconsin.
VP Engineering & CTO
Parag
Mody - Parag Mody has been an electrical
engineer for over 20 years, with work ranging from designing massively
parallel processor systems, medical imagers, to optimizing the design
of a landmine detector for humanitarian demining. He currently is the
Director of Engineering at Green Plug, another green technology
startup. Parag also teaches yoga and martial arts in the Bay Area.

Marc Pomerleau - Marc worked at Sun Microsystems for six years driving
marketing, business development and sales acceleration strategy and
campaigns for the Asia Pacific region, the global solutions group and
most recently Sun's market-leading Identity Management software
portfolio. For Green WiFi, Marc brings a wealth of experience in
technology marketing, alliance building and international negotiation
to drive Green WiFi partnerships, development and communications.
Rob Trice - Rob is a General Partner at Nokia Growth Partners where
he brings a variety of domestic and international operational and
business planning experience. He joined BlueRun Ventures (formerly
Nokia Venture Partners) in late 2000. Previously, he worked at DIRECTV
in Los Angeles and Tokyo. Rob also worked as a policy analyst at a
Washington, D.C. based think tank, the Center for Strategic &
International Studies. He holds a Master of Arts from George Mason
University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia. Rob
is based in Menlo Park, California
Shannon McElyea
- Shannon has more than 20 years experience in
Internet/Arpanet, high technology and networking systems, focusing the
last ten years on creating strategic technology alliances for joint
sales, marketing and engineering. She started her career in the late
70s with a nine-year tenure at Xerox PARC and Xerox OSD. Ms. McElyea
has been a guest and featured speaker at Silicon Valley “SmartTalk”,
Sun Java Worlds throughout the US and Japan, Sun Financial Summits in
Asia, ISPCon, VPNCon, Computer Associates World, IBM ‘Publishing in
2010’, IBM E-Commerce, New World Networks: Service Provider Summit, and
Internet/VPN road shows and seminars worldwide.
Michael Magura
- His expertise spans storage, IT architecture
design, networking for leading Asia Pacific telecommunication
companies. Michael has a B.A. Economics from University of Rhode
Island, a Masters Degree in International Economics from Miami
University, and completed the Chinese Language and Culture Studies
program at Chinese Cultural University in Taipei. He has been living
with his family in Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, and China for the past
12 years and enjoys Chinese history, Thai culture, Taiwanese spirit,
traveling, and basketball. Michael is currently living in Singapore.
Carol Singh- Carol
is principal of CJS Consulting, a marketing consultancy. She has 15
years experience in technology and business marketing leadership. She
was most recently responsible for business development activities at
Pronto Networks (OSS for Wi-Fi), working to provide solutions to deploy
large-scale wireless networks to serve cities and municipalities. While
at Sun Microsystems, she helped found and launch the Telecom Industry
group that grew to provide a third of Sun’s revenues. Carol graduated
from the University of Minnesota with honors in East Asian Studies. She
volunteers for various arts organizations as well as the SPCA. At home,
she enjoys gardening, wine and her two cats.
